An epitome of British luxury motoring, Bentley’s flagship model the Mulsanne Mulliner is being reinvented with a sporting and highly distinctive interpretation to stand out among grossly mass produced vehicle. Bringing the joy of driving back to car owners, the luxury car offers the world’s most exclusive motoring experience merging immense sportiness and power in one vehicle. The hand crafted luxury vehicle combines the coach-building elegance of classic Grand Touring Bentley with a state of the art cabin that is fitted with hand-cut and hand-blown lead crystal champagne flutes, an electrically operated bottle cooler exquisitely designed for the flagship model and a large, tinted glass tilt-opening sunroof that is introduced exclusively in the model.

The ultra-luxury sports saloon is powered by Bentley’s twin-turbocharged 6.75 liter V8 engine that outputs 505 bhp and delivers a top speed of 296 km/h (184 mph). The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. Outputting 752 lbs ft of torque at 1750 rev/min, the engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with a steering‑wheel mounted paddle shift that offers a sport mode and an electronic shift interface. The rear wheel driven model is both LEVII and EU5 emissions compliant thanks to variable displacement and cam phasing which is a first for the ultra-luxury sector.

The 13 Model Year Mulsanne features a sports-tuned suspension with driver-selectable steering making the Mulliner Driving Specification even more pleasurable to drive. To handle extreme torque, a toe and brake reaction control system on the multilink rear suspension was developed specially for the vehicle. Ensuring optimum control to the driver at all times, the vehicle’s damping is continuously monitored and adjusted by Continuous Damping Control (CDC) fitted with electronically-controlled air springs.

Sensitive to load and speed, automatic ride height control combines with Drive Dynamics Control to offer two selectable settings for the speed-sensitive Servotronic power steering and four driver-selectable settings. For CDC and power steering, Drive Dynamics Control on the model offers drivers the chance to choose from Comfort, Sport and Bentley modes offered as standard though they can also tune the system in Custom mode and adjust the automatic hill-hold control, electronic brake prefill, hydraulic brake assist, traction control and ABS with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to match their own unique preferred driving style.

To convey a unique sense of movement and dynamism, the Mulsanne features beautifully balanced proportions of sharply sculpted muscular haunches and flowing graceful lines. The vehicle comes with bespoke race‑derived 265/40 ZR21 tires wrapped around new 21-inch alloy wheels fashioned in lightweight aluminum with bright-finished rims titanium fasteners. The bespoke exterior of the new model is given a dramatic twist by the polished stainless steel and black matrix grille. The Mulliner script is engraved into the ‘Flying B’ emblem on the cast, polished stainless steel sweeping wing vents that emphasize the sporting motif of the iconic Bentley saloon.

On the inside, the cabin of the Mulsanne features an indented leather headlining complemented by a Diamond Quilting pattern on the leather upholstery of the door casings and the seats. The Mulliner Driving Specification continues the tradition of sporting Bentleys with its driver-focused sumptuous bespoke cabin. Bentley’s famed attention to detail is displayed though a Baseball-style cross stitch is hand-finished on the leather gear lever. The gear lever, the ‘Organ Stop’ air ventilation controls and the cool-metal interior door handles also feature a unique ‘coined’ or ‘knurled’ surface finish that are beautifully executed.

Optional seat ventilation system is provided by combining non‑perforated ‘tramlines’ with exact diamond shapes via a bespoke hide perforation process. A selection of 22 leather hides and two marquetry options among unmatched selection of unbleached premium quality veneers and over 100 paint colors allow buyers to specify a truly bespoke car for themselves.
