2012 Jaguar XJ Ultimate

Imaginatively called the XJ Ultimate, it represents, as Jaguar themselves state, ‘the pinnacle of the luxurious, innovative XJ experience with heightened levels of opulence for rear-seat passengers’. As the press release states, the rear seat passengers will be pampered with all the luxuries we’ve come to expect from a modern luxury car. It gets two individual seats trimmed in natural leather which are fully adjustable and get a massage function.

Other extras include a champagne chiller, an iPad and keyboard for each passenger, a 20 speaker surround-sound system and two unique types of 20-inch rims available.

One can specify either the 3.0-liter diesel or the 5.0-liter petrol motor, both of which remain untouched. In addition to the usual range of engines, the XJ Ultimate will also be offered with a new 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine which develops 340 hp and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.
