Lamborghini Urus SUV

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now official (don’t take this literally): Lamborghini’s design language is the best we’ve seen so far for concealing the fat body of an SUV. The first photos of the Urus concept (this will be the name used by the Italian SUV) have now leaked onto the web ahead of its reveal at the Beijing Auto Show and we really like what we see.

Have you ever thought about how difficult it is for a car with the dimensions of an SUV to become a piece of eye-candy? Many carmakers have tried their hand (no pun intended) at this and failed, with the latest example coming from another company in the VW Group’s stable, Bentley, who created the controversial EXP F 9 SUV study.

The recipe for this seems to have used the Estoque four-door coupe as a starting point, while inside we find a lot of carbon fiber, which leads us to believe that this will be one of the lightest full-size SUVs on the market.

We should’ve seen this one coming – after all, this car is just like a Raging Bull: beefy but a pleasure to behold…
